This design celebrates the rich history connecting the Grateful Dead to the University of Oregon at Autzen Stadium in Eugene—a iconic venue that hosted unforgettable multi-day Dead concerts throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The artwork incorporates the legendary Oregon chant,

It Never Rains in Autzen Stadium

a famous rallying cry coined by legendary UO football coach Rich Brooks, encapsulating the undying spirit of Oregon fans no matter the weather.

Design Highlights:

• Front Design: Features the iconic Grateful Dead Dancing Bear wearing sneakers, joyfully strutting side-by-side with Oregon’s famous Duck mascot against a scenic Northwest backdrop. Framed in vintage green-and-gold ribbons, it displays retro “OREGON” typography alongside a customized “Steal Your Face” skull emblem containing the classic interlocking UO logo.
• Back Design: Showcases a detailed backdrop of Autzen Stadium with speech bubbles reading “LOOKS LIKE…” and “IT NEVER RAINS IN AUTZEN STADIUM”. The Dancing Bear and The Duck walk hand-in-hand toward the stadium gates, topped with bold psychedelic “GRATEFUL DUCKS” lettering and supported by the iconic Stealthed Lightning Skull.
• Double-Sided Graphic Magic: A complete front-and-back visual storytelling experience that merges classic 1970s psychedelic concert art with game-day Ducks pride.
